Ladenburg is a quaint little town along the Neckar River which boasts Roman Ruins from the year 2 AD. The center of the town consists of may colorful timber buildings. Many of the walls have stone ornamental figures and shields on them. There was one square down from the Die Kartofiel restaurant (the potato restaurant) that we ate at, had some interesting statues which you can see in the photos below. A nice little town with a lot of atmosphere. It was a shame that it was raining and I could not get more photos.
